Orthopedic surgeon<\/em><\/h3>\n

[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]Dr Ch\u00e9rif Tadros graduated from the Universit\u00e9 de Montr\u00e9al Faculty of Medicine with a specialty in orthopaedic surgery. He went on to complete a sports medecine fellowship at the Toronto Orthopaedic and Arthritic Hospital, where he deepened his focus on shoulder and knee surgery.<\/span><\/p>\n

Dr. Tadros began his career at the Cit\u00e9-de-la-Sant\u00e9 Hospital in Laval and at the St-Eustache Hospital in 1992, after returning to Quebec. Two years later, he became Head of the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at the Cit\u00e9-de-la-Sant\u00e9 Hospital in Laval, and in 2004, he was named Head of the Department of Surgery.             After some very bad experiences with the public health system this year, I went in to Dr. Tadros fearing for the worst . . . I expected tests and X-rays, with followup appointments etc. etc. for what I was able to learn was a fairly common but extremely painful condition. But as soon as I walked into Dr. Tadros\u00bfs office I felt immense relief\u00bfI somehow knew this was going to be different. Indeed, as he rose to greet me in a warm and friendly manner, I knew somehow that I was in good hands. He let me explain what the problems were and he answered all my questions with none of the arrogance or impetuousness that I have come to believe is the norm with health care in this province. He explained to me that he was going to inject me with corticosteroids\u00bfexactly the treatment option I was hoping for, and several times he warned me that it was going to hurt (again, in stark contrast with doctors in the regular system) and indeed, it hurt\u00bfbut I expected it, and after 30 seconds it was all over. Tonight, not even 36 hours later, my fingers, which I am using to type, seem to have almost returned to normal\u00bfno residual pain at all. Please tell Dr. Tadros that he has saved my summer and allowed for me to play the guitar again, and wish to THANK HIM FOR AN OUTSTANDING experience, for which I am ETERNALLY GRATEFUL.<\/p>\n
